@foxmtb needed a van to replace an aging mobile ra @foxmtb needed a van to replace an aging mobile race shop. But switching to a smaller space of a extended 3500 Sprinter meant a premium was going to be put on utilization of space, there was not a square inch to waste! They needed space for 2-3 techs to work side by side and have quick access to everything they need to rebuild suspension at mountain bike races around the country. The NASCAR inspired outcome is what you see here. Light, clean and efficient space with onboard air, two dedicated (a 3rd added later) work stations with air and power and custom shelving to keep all of the bins containing everything you need to service any of the company's many different front and rear shocks. A nice low-pro rack we just finished for a Nissan NV holding a couple of 150W solar panels, Starlink antenna, and removable crossbars for wintertime Tahoe trips. We mounted an @fiamma__official awning on the side and even had a little room for some slats to be able to get up top and keep the panels clean! As always, powdercoated by @grizzlypowdercoating . #FlashbackFriday to when @evilbicycles from Seattl #FlashbackFriday to when @evilbicycles from Seattle Washington wanted to go simple and light; right in Ruhne Racing’s wheelhouse. They needed a demo van to show the country their bikes awesomeness, but they also wanted to be able to use the van for shuttle runs from the company HQ when the van was not out on the road. We installed a factory bench seat that pops out with ease, so they can haul up to 25 bikes without the seat, or up to 6 people and plenty of bikes with the seat in place. Aluminum cabinets provide plenty of storage for spare parts and tools and onboard air is at each door to fill up tires. WHAT WE DID: Chris and his wife originally came t WHAT WE DID: Chris and his wife originally came to us with his partially converted van for a roof fan and a heater. He then set out using the van for the summer hitting several National parks along with plenty of kiting and MTBing and figured out what they wanted in the rest of their build and this is the result. 24G of fresh water, onboard @viaircorp to inflate kites and bike tires, 300AH of @relionbattery LiPO batteries, a 3000W inverter to power the induction cooktop and espresso machine. A platform bed above the toy garage with custom board storage for the twin tips under and L Track in the ceiling for the SUP. @owl.outdoors components took care of getting him onto the roof deck and a place to put the bikes and firewood out back.
