What we did:
For the 4th demo Van for SCB, we took the proven design from the Juliana van and with input from the driver we implemented changes to make life on the road easier and more efficient for the driver.
The Ford Transit is a bit shorter in length and has a bit less height in the front half of the van we went with the same layout as the Juli van but cleaned things up with horizontal lifting cabinet doors, moved the fridge under the bed and swapping out a cabinet for the tool box under the work bench.
The Power Stroke diesel engine has plenty of power to tow the trailer full of bikes behind the fully loaded van. In addiction to the Ruhne Racing House battery system we put in a Sine Wave inverter/ charger with a 110v shore power inlet so they can easily plug in when at event s with supplied power, or at campsites with power.
