What we did:
As the popularity of SCB’s Juliana line of women’s specific bicycles created by Juli Furtado accelerated they came to us for their 3rd demo van dedicated for the Juliana line. They were looking for a different layout from the ‘A&A’ layout in their first two vans of living in the front and a workspace in the back that became more of a big closet.
Working with the client we came up with a more efficient layout of a bed over bike storage, dedicated Easy-Up storage, and cabinets next to the bed and a work/ living space in the middle with a front seat swivel and yet more storage. A Ruhne Racing House Battery system including a 12v/110v fridge, pure sine wave inverter, two Fantastic Fans for airflow, and 12v LED lighting including a work light above the workbench.
The van also is outfitted with onboard air, upgraded stereo/ GPS/ Bluetooth unit with an amp and rear speakers. The white Dibond aluminum paneling keeps things airy and easy to clean. The aluminum cabinets and toolbox also keep weight down to help mileage. We added a standard Ruhne Racing House Battery system to keep things going while off the grid and outfitted a trailer to tag along (See the SCB trailer project to see inside)
